It’s the second Tuesday of the month and it is time to post for Bread Bakers. Our host for the month Stacy of Food Lust People Love asked us to bake a sweetened yeast bread perfect for Christmas or for the other holidays celebrated during this time of the year. So I baked this chocolate…
Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies made with 100%Whole wheat. These cookies are soft and chewy and are packed with chocolate chips.
Recipe to make Chocolate yeast bread. This bread is not soft and moist like chocolate cake or even any quick bread. It is a little dense with a nice crumb and is perfect to eat just as is or with a smear of butter. This bread is just slightly sweet and is great to serve for breakfast or for an afternoon snack. I made a French toast with the leftover bread and served with fruit (banana and strawberry) it tasted absolutely heavenly.
Recipe to make Chocolate Ricotta Muffins. These muffins have double dose of chocolate with cocoa powder and the chocolate chips. I have to say these are probably one of my favorite chocolate muffins too along with the kids because they are very moist, chocolaty and quite addictive.
These brownies need just one bowl (or a saucepan). Unsalted butter is melted first (either on the stove or in a microwave) and then sugar is added. The mixture is heated once again and this heating ensures more sugar to melt and gives the brownies a nice shiny crust. Once the sugar is melted, all the other ingredients go in and then it’s baked until done.
Chocolate Cookies aka World Peace Cookies. These are eggless and are great slice and bake cookies. They are slightly soft and taste very chocolaty and delicious.
Homemade Mini Chocolate chip scones taste so much better than the dense store bought ones. Try these flaky and delicious scones that are easy to put together.
Crunchy and delicious Granola made with Oats and lots of chocolate. It can be served with warm or cold milk or even sprinkled on yogurt. My kids loved eating it as is. It can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Chocolate-hazelnut bread is very moist and delicious. The chocolate-hazelnut glaze on the top makes it even more delicious.
Blogging Marathon# 45: Week 3/ Day 3 Theme: Kid’s Delight — Nuts & Legumes for Kid’s Lunchbox Dish: Almond Chocolate Chip Muffins For the 3rd and final day of this week’s BM, I made Almond butter-Chocolate chip muffins. I saw the recipe for hazelnut butter-cranberry muffins lot time back in Vegetarian times magazine. I wanted to make them ever since, finally got a chance to make these for this week. I always have almond butter in the fridge and use it quite often to spread on my morning toast and add it to Indian curries to make them creamy. So…
