This cherry berry smoothie bowl is creamy and delicious. It is a quick, guilt free way to start any day.
We recently bought Blendtec high power blender from Costco and we have been making a lot of smoothies and soups. These high power blenders are just amazing, they process just about everything into a smooth mixture in no time. I’m loving how quick and easy it is to make breakfast and lunch (or dinner). So here’s one of my absolute favorite recipe to make a smoothie bowl. This Cherry berry smoothie bowl takes just a few minutes to put together and it’s delicious.Recipe is from Cooking Light magazine and I’ve already made it more than 3 times in the past 10 days. It is made with tart cherry juice, Greek yogurt, avocado, baby spinach and frozen berries. Except for the cherry juice, I usually have all the other ingredients in the fridge handy at all times. I bought a bottle of cherry juice from Trader Joe’s recently and I might have to go back to get another one soon.
This smoothie bowl is packed with half a days worth of fiber and other essential vitamins and nutrients. I enjoy gawking that the beautiful smoothie bowl pictures some of the food bloggers post on Instagram. I was so disappointed to see my bowl not as exciting and colorful as I was hoping it to be, so I mixed everything up and it looked just perfect to me 🙂 Check out my other pretty Chocolate Smoothie bowl. This breakfast tastes awesome with the tartness from cherry juice, tanginess from yogurt and sweetness from the berries. Even without any added sugar, it tasted pretty sweet and delicious. I like some crunch in my bowl, so I put some granola on top. This cherry berry smoothie bowl is great to have any time of the day — breakfast or as a snack.
