  • 4 tsp Green tea Kashmiri
  • 1 Cinnamon
  • 2 pods Cardamom – crushed
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 Ginger ” – piece
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 cups Water
  • pinch Saffron (mixed in water)
  • 8 Almonds – blanched and chopped

  • 2 pods Cardamom – crushed
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 Ginger ” – piece
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 cups Water
  • pinch Saffron (mixed in water)
  • 8 Almonds – blanched and chopped
Chinese Green Tea
Instructions
  1. Add cinnamon, ginger, cloves and cardamom to water and bring to a boil.
  2. Pour water over the tea and leave to infuse over a very low flame for about 10minutes. Add sugar and mix well.
  3. Strain the tea and add saffron water along with chopped almonds.
  4. Serve hot.
Recipe Notes

I have never had Kashmiri Kahwa before, so I can’t say if Chinese green tea matches up to its taste. But it was definitely refreshing and you can taste all the different flavors going on in the tea.
