Chinese Cucumber Salad Yum
Cucumbers are smashed (a perfect excuse to take out your frustration after a long day) and then tossed with some garlic, sesame oil and some seasonings. No soy sauce or other strong flavors — simple, clean salad that is just delicious. Serve it right away or chilled.

  • 4 Cucumbers Persian
  • ½ tsp~1tsp red chili flakes
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 ~ 2 cloves garlic , finely minced
  • To taste salt

  • 4 Cucumbers Persian

Chinese Cucumber Salad
Instructions
  1. Remove the ends of the cucumber. Place one at a time on the chopping board and wack it a few times to smash it. Cut them into thirds and then chop into about bite size pieces.
  2. Place the smashed and chopped cucumber in a bowl and add all the other ingredients. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Serve right away or chill until ready to serve.
