Piyush is a creamy and delicious Gujarati drink made with shrikhand. Since it is made with yogurt, it serves as a coolant when taken in Summer.

  • 1 cup Kesar Shrikhand (homemade or Store bought)
  • ½ cup Yogurt
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ tsp Cardamom Ground
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg Ground
  • Pistachios As needed , chopped
  • 4 ~ 5 strands Saffron

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl combine shrikand, yogurt, milk, cardamom and nutmeg. Whisk well to combine all the ingredients.
  2. Chill for 1~2 hours for the flavors to mingle.
  3. Pour into glasses, garnish with pistachios and saffron strands. Enjoy!!
