Vegan Chocolate French Toast
Instructions
  1. Blend tofu, almond milk, banana, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, maple syrup and salt into a smooth mixture. Make sure there are no lumps. This is great to drink as is, almost like a creamy chocolate smoothie.
  2. Pour the tofu-cocoa mixture into a pie plate or a shallow bowl/ plate.
  3. Heat a griddle on medium-low flame. Add some butter to melt.
  4. Dip the bread in the tofu mixture for a few seconds on both sides. Place in the hot pan and cook for about 3~4 minutes on both sides, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Keep the French toast warm in a 200°F preheated oven or serve right away with more maple syrup.
