    BM# 68-Cooking Carnival: Day 15
Theme of Week 3: Vegetables in Snacks
    Dish: Aloo Chaat

So for the final day of this week's marathon under 'Vegetables in Snack recipes' theme, I made this addictive Aloo Chaat from Tarla Dalal's site. It is a popular street food in Mumbai.

    Spicy Potato Chaat

Baby potatoes are marinated in spices and then cooked till golden, they are then topped with the usual chaat accouterments like green chutney, sweet chutney, thin sev etc. The spicy sauteed potatoes were amazing just by themselves. I had a hard time controlling myself from popping them right into my mouth. I think the next time, I'll make a double batch of these marinated potatoes -- one for the chaat and one for snacking as is 🙂

The already amazing sauteed potatoes are then topped with some lip smacking chaat fare. The end result is a very tasty and addictive snack that is sure to be a hit with everyone. If you have the chutneys prepared and baby potatoes boiled and peeled ahead of time (these little potatoes take quite a bit of time to peel), this whole dish can be made within 30 minutes.
