Dish: Pumpkin Gelato
Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone celebrating today. I am thankful to god for this life and to my lovely family and to my dear friends for always being there and for their constant support. My theme for this week’s blogging marathon is ‘Bookmarked recipes‘. I always look forward to this theme because it helps to clear out a few of my bookmarks. So today I have a creamy and decadent Pumpkin Gelato recipe that takes just a few minutes to put together. Recipe is from ‘The Kitchen‘ cooking show. Pumpkin is probably the most used winter vegetable during this time of the year. I bought 1 small pumpkin and then got bombarded with 2 more from my daughter’s school. So I have been looking for ways to use them up.First I made my homemade roasted pumpkin puree, then set out to make the various dishes (like these mini pumpkin pies and this pumpkin pie spice mug cake). This pumpkin gelato is my third recipe using pumpkin puree.
My son has been asking me to make this Pumpkin ice cream that I made last year. But when I saw this no-cook gelato recipe, I wanted to try it. The warm spices and the pumpkin make this a perfect dessert for fall.
