On a clean work surface, place the wonton and add a dollop of jam and a cream cheese cube in the center. Wet all the edges of the wonton with water and fold over the filling. Press the edges to seal properly. Keep the stuffed wontons covered with damp towel.
Heat oil for deep frying. Gently slide the wontons, 2~3 at a time, and fry on medium flame until golden on both sides.
Remove with a slotted spoon on to a paper towel lined plate and serve hot or warm.
