Moong dal Salad (Vadapappu Salad)

South Indian Style Salad made with Moong dal and lettuce greens. Easy to make and protein rich -- this is sure to be a hit.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Lettuce leaves
  • ¼ cup Moong dal
  • ¼ cup Pomegranate seeds
  • 3 tbsps coconut Fresh grated
  • 2 tbsps Raisins
  • To taste Salt Pepper &

Instructions

  • Soak moong dal for 1 hour. Drain.
  • In a bowl, combine lettuce, drained moong dal, coconut, pomegranate seeds, raisins and season with salt and pepper, if desired. Serve immediately!!
