Vanilla Ice Cream

Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream -- It is super simple to make with just 4 ingredients. All that is needed is to mix all the ingredients and then churn in the ice cream maker. If you don't have ice cream maker, don't fret I've included the procedure to make it without the ice cream maker too. Original recipe uses 4 cups of light cream or half-and-half, but I always have heavy cream and whole milk in the fridge, so that is what I used to make this ice cream. If you don't have ice cream maker, then use only Heavy Cream to get a creamy, smooth ice cream. Using light cream or half-n-half will make the ice cream too icy.

Ingredients

With Ice Cream Maker:

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 cups Milk Whole
  • 1 14 oz Condensed Milk Sweetened - . can (fat free or low fat is OK to use)
  • 2 tbsps Vanilla Extract

Without Ice Cream Maker:

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 14 oz Condensed Milk Sweetened - . cans (fat free or low fat is OK to use)
  • 2 tbsps Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • With Ice Cream Maker: Whisk all the ingredients until well combined. Churn in the ice cream maker, following the machine instructions and you will have creamy and delicious ice cream.
  • Without Ice Cream Maker: Whisk condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • Fold the whipped cream into condensed milk.
  • Pour into a 9"x5" loaf pan or other 2 quart pan. Freeze for 6 hours or until set. Enjoy!!
