Oats Rava Laddoo

These Oats Rava laddoos are quick and very easy to make - takes about 15 minutes to make the entire batch.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • ¼ cup Dry grated coconut
  • 3~4 tbsp Ghee/ Clarified butter, divided use
  • 1 cup Semolina/ Sooji Rava
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cashews
  • 1 tbsp Raisins
  • 1 tbsp Almonds
  • ½ tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 2~3 tbsp Warm Milk

Instructions

  • Dry roast oats in a pan until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and let cool. Grind to a fine powder.
  • Dry roast the grated coconut until light brown, about 2~3 minutes. Make sure that the coconut does not burn.
  • Melt 1 tbsp ghee in the same pan. Add the semolina and fry till the color changes from white to golden. Remove into a mixing bowl, cool slightly.
  • In the same pan, melt remaining 1tbsp ghee and fry the nuts until golden brown.
  • To the mixing bowl with rava/ semolina, add the fried nuts, oats powder, sugar, cardamom and mix well.
  • Stir in the remaining 1~2 tbsp melted ghee and mix to combine.
  • Slowly add the warm milk to the mixture and make laddoos. Store in an airtight container.
