International Vegetarian
I love trying recipes from around the world. The different combination of flavors, spices and ingredients is so interesting to explore. But since most of these do not conform to our dietary needs, I convert them into international vegetarian recipes.
Some of these are inherently meatless like this Afghani Borani Banjan or this Ethiopian Mesir Wat. They are simple, everyday recipes from these countries that are sure to tickle your taste buds.
Then there are recipes that are meat based, like this Lebanese Stew, but with the use of veggie substitutes, my recipe is equally hearty and delicious.
