    Andhra

    Recipes from my home state of Andhra Pradesh. My parents are from Andhra, but settled in Hyderabad years ago. My husband is from Telangana, so I learnt many traditional recipes from that region from my MIL.

    Both Andhra and Telangana are known for spicy food and scrumptious sweet treats. Some of my favorite Andhra dishes are gutti vankaya kura, gongura pulihora, madatha kaaja and so on.

    Hyderabad in Telangana is popular for veg biryani, mirchi ka salan and bagara rice.
